Tremendous value can be realized when procurement processes can be managed across the public sector. Supply Chain Management establishes standards and specifications and supply arrangements for common goods and services. It manages Corporate Supply Arrangements for many commodities such a photocopiers and IT equipment, and analyses spend data across government and participating public sector agencies in order to identify opportunities for demand aggregation and volume procurements.
Supply Chain Management also manages the government’s vehicle outsourcing contract and any other cross-government supply contracts as requested by Clients, the Procurement Council or the Office of the Comptroller General.
