Document Management Services

Document Design - A smart professional looking document portrays a sharp professional organization. The appearance and reader's acceptance of a printed publication can be affected by design characteristics like typeface, graphics, colour choices, and white space. The Queen's Printer provides complete typesetting, desktop publishing, designing and consulting services.

The QP Printing and Publishing Service Centre can simplify your printing project by developing specifications and production schedules, whether you have camera ready copy or a hand drawn concept. Our knowledgeable customer service team can assist you with finding appropriate answers for questions such as:

  • What's the image you're creating for your organization?
  • Who is your audience?
  • Is the publication strictly informational or is it more upscale in quality?
  • Should the publication be printed using process, spot colour, or black ink only?
  • Should the publication have one, two, or three column layout?
  • What is the proper format for the index or table of contents?

Printing - The Queen's Printer Printing Plant offers customers a full range of cost effective options for production of publications. Several presses are available ranging from small duplicators for 1 and 2 colour jobs to 11" x 17", up to large 36" perfector presses capable of handling multi-page forms and long run products. Three docutech printers offer the convenience of electronic document storage with "On-Demand" publishing.

High speed photocopying equipment with on-line collating, stapling and binding functions is also available.
