BC Gazette

The British Columbia Gazette is produced by the Queen’s Printer under the authority of the Queen’s Printer Act. The British Columbia Gazette consists of two parts:

BC Gazette, Part 1 is published weekly and includes legal and government notices such as:

• Notices to creditors
• Restoration applications
• Public tenders
• Disposition of crown lands
• Election results
• Mining lease applications
• Order-in-council notices
• Registrations of co-operatives and societies
• Timber licences

Online subscriptions to the Gazette, Part 1 are available on QP LeglalEze. The print version is available from Crown Publications.

BC Gazette, Part 2 publishes all new, repealed and amended regulations deposited under the Regulations Act. Online subscriptions to the Gazette, Part 2 are available on QP LeglalEze. The print versionis normally published every two weeks and is available from Crown Publications.

Note: The Ministry of Finance no longer publishes Corporate Registry Notices of company and extraprovincial filings in The Gazette. Corporate Registry Notices are now available by subscription only on QP LegalEze. Material from January 2003 to the present is included and is fully searchable and printable.

Notices and advance payment must reach the Queen’s Printer no later than 1:30 pm on the deadline date (see schedule below).

Customers requiring galley proofs must submit copy by 1:30 pm on the Friday before publication (see schedule below).

Payment methods include:  Visa, MasterCard, American Express, certified cheque, company cheque (personal cheques are not accepted) or money order made payable to the Minister of Finance. (see list of insertion rates below).

Where orders contain more than one notice, each will be charged as a separate notice.

Various ministry notices are printed in a format and are priced by the space (page) used, rather than the number of words.  Please contact the BC Gazette Office for additional pricing information prior to sending your notice.
